These are the Unifiber Aluminium ESSENTIALS Monocoque Booms. Simply put, these offer the best value to performance that money can buy, in an aluminium boom. Second to none, they’re really really good.

Each size in this boom model is designed specifically…the shorter sizes are more narrow for wave sails, longer sizes are wider for race sails.

The booms are light weight, very strong and rigid, and above all they are very comfortable to use with a supple long lasting foam grip.

The clamp on these is simply a fantastic design. Absolutely as good as other well known specialised clamp brands and we reckon, they’re better than most. There is 2 grip points on your mast spread well apart for support and strength, the head can be removed by a simple twist, and with a change of inserts RDM and SDM masts are useable. They also come with strengthening bolts to increase stiffness if you don’t need the head to be easily removed.

The tail section is simple and secure to adjust, with each size having different features on the cleat/rollers as necessary.

We can not recommend these enough. Absolutely our favourite aluminium booms, and have been ever since their launch back in 2020(?). We can’t see why anyone needs anything else…!
