The Starboard Kode 77 Wood was one of our favourite boards from the 2013 range. This board works incredibly well…it is fast, responsive, controllable…everything a wave board should be.
This one can be ridden as twin fin configuration with the fins supplied, or as a single fin with the blanks supplied and your own single fin (around 20-22cm will be nice in this with smaller sails).
At the time we regarded these as a medium to high wind board that you could take and use everywhere. Flat water to mast high, this’ll ride it for you.
CONDITION
Excellent condition for its age. The board was used only by a light weight rider, in higher winds…and most of his sailing would not have been in high winds. There is one ding on the deck between the footstraps which has been filled. There are some usual rubbing marks around the fin box, and some usual rail marks from laying on a beach, but we are really being picky here…it’s a lovely board in a lovely condition.
Comes supplied with twin fins pictured, and also three blanks…two side blanks, and one centre blank.
We just replaced the 8 no. footstrap screws in this board for peace of mind…plus the originals had slightly stripped heads.
