This RRD X-Wing MK1 in a 7.8m has been used just once and is in excellent, ‘like-new’ condition.
The RRD X-Wing MK1 is RRD’s top of range slalom and race windsurf sail. Its design takes the best from previous generations of the Firewing, and adds a wide luff sleeve and 4th camber for the highest stability and in turn, perfomance.
The earlier Firewing sails were good, this one is a huge improvement. These are the sails as used by the PWA racers.
This is a very cheap way for you to start into slalom sailing and/or racing.
We promise, you’ll need to be an exceptionally good, world championship level rider, to be able to say “this sail is not good enough for me”…there is ample performance in this sail for 98% of fast riders in the world. It is that good.
Rigs on a 460cm SDM mast, with 22cm of extension, and a 214-222cm boom.
Really easy race sail to rig…takes less than a minute to pop on the cams when you know how.
3 clew positions let you adjust the feel of this sail quite a lot.
Comes with sail bag as pictured…also in excellent condition.
