This RRD WH Flight 95 Carbon windsurf foil is highly recommended if you are a capable windsurfer, looking to progress fast with windsurf foiling.
There is lots of performance to be unlocked from this foil as you progress and improve your foiling technique. All carbon construction means the foil will carry a lot of power and remain stable as gusts hit.
We can highly recommend this foil for all round use, but it is also fast enough to race with if you like.
Suitable ideally for a fast progressing foiler. This foil is predictable to use, but has lots of performance available to an experienced rider.
Assembly Notes
The fuselage (horizontal section on bottom) is detachable from the mast (vertical section up to the fin box) making it simple to store and transport in its case. These are quite big when assembled with the 95cm mast in position! Assembly is quite straight forward. Unpack it from its protective case, then screw it together with the supplied stainless steel Torx head bolts supplied. The Torx head bolts are excellent for foils, as they are much more resistant to stripping the heads compared to philips head bolts or 'allen' hex head bolts.
Condition of this windsurf foil
The foil is in excellent condition overall. This was the Bigsurf demo foil for one season. The fuselage was modified to make it longer, giving the foil MUCH better upwind and downwind performance, and much more control.
Also included in the pack is adjustable shims for the tail wing to tune performance to your liking. Bigger tail shim equals more lift….this is standard practice now for modern foils.
