This RRD Firemove Flight 135 LTE is a fantastic beginner to intermediate level windsurfing board, that doubles up as a great board to go foiling with. A brilliant all-rounder...a great addition to any windsurfing quiver.
This RRD Firemove Flight 135 for many years has been our top recommendation if you are a beginner to intermediate level rider. What makes this one special is its construction, it can be used for foiling as you progress, and this actual board has only been used once!…just 1 time on the water!
Its construction is light enough to be responsive, but tough enough to minimise the chance of damage normally associated with progression. It is the recommended construction for value and performance. If you’d like extra protection, you can also install a nose protector, available HERE.
As a windsurfing board, the wide, short and thin profile allows the board to plane early, accelerate quickly and efficiently, yet the rails bite really well through gybes, tacks and footsteering. All this gives you a board which is very controllable, and fast! You can be drive this board hard, as in slalom style, to give more and more speed...a very rewarding feeling.
For foiling, the 135 litres of volume and width give you the ideal platform to balance on when stopped. When learning to foil, crash downs are inevitable, and this shape does incredible well to soften out the landings for you. And when the board is flying, the short length and thin profile and rails keeps the board controllable in the air. We can supply the ideal foil for this board...something like THIS FOIL.
