The Point-7 Salt is their top of range wave windsurf sail. It’s designed to be light weight in the hands, offering power with good manoeuvrability.
This sail is ideal for beginners…it is strong, easy to rig, and will perform for you over the years to come especially as you improve.
For experienced riders, this one was good enough for Ricardo Campello, so that makes it good enough for us!
Rigs on a 400cm RDM mast, with 4cm extension, and a 164cm boom.
Sail is is good condition overall. It is ready for use as is, as it was in use up until it arrived to Bigsurf. We have examined the sail in detail and found the following. The batten pocket on batten 1 (top batten) has some damage, but it is ok to use as is. There is a small batten pocket tear on batten no. 2, which again is ok to use. There is also a small luff tear which is typical of what happens to these sails…it is ok to use it as is. After that you can expect the usual monofilm marks from rigging and derigging. Very good looking sail overall, ready for time on the water.
Please note there is no bag supplied with this sail…the pro’s don’t use sail bags! The sail is held wrapped up with the bungee cord built into the foot.
