The Point-7 Salt is their top of range wave windsurf sail. It’s designed to be light weight in the hands, offering power with good manoeuvrability.
This sail is ideal for beginners…it is strong, easy to rig, and will perform for you over the years to come especially as you improve.
For experienced riders, this one was good enough for Ricardo Campello, so that makes it good enough for us!
Rigs on a 370cm RDM mast, with 14cm extension, and a 158cm approx. boom.
Sail is in very good, overall condition for its age. We have examined the sail in detail. It is ready for use as is, as it was in use up until it arrived to Bigsurf. There is a tear in the mast luff tube, but it can be used as it is no problem….if you would prefer it to be perfect, it can be repaired…we estimate about €50, but we’d suggest using it as it is and enjoy it. Apart from that, it has some of the usual monofilm marks from rigging and derigging. This is a very good looking sail overall, in very good condition.
Please note there is no bag supplied with this sail…the pro’s don’t use sail bags! The sail is held wrapped up with the bungee cord built into the foot.
